Gerry Cunningham has been sailing these waters regularly for many years, from La Paz to Puerto Refugio.

He has also sailed from San Diego, down the Pacific coast off the western shore of Baja California, and around Cabo San Lucas. He keeps his boat in San Carlos most of the time and has visited and accurately described over 270 anchorages throughout the Sea of Cortez. Gerry is the only Cruising Guide author continuing to sail and survey the Sea of Cortez. These materials are now available online right here.
